Our youngest performer at 2025 Tauherenikau Music in the Country, Maddy Bean, aged 19, is our rising star.

Hi, I’m Maddy Bean, I’m 19 years old, I’ve been coming with my grandparents to Wairarapa music in the country since I was 10, when I got up the nerve to do my first ever walk up. Since then, I’ve loved coming back every year and was lucky enough to asked back this year 2024 as a featured artist. I’m absolutely thrilled to be a part of the exciting line up for the 2025 10-year anniversary of Wairarapa music in the country. Hope to see you all there.

Winning her first award aged nine, Maddy has won the Coastlands Got Talent show, talent shows at school, and countless house battles at college. While she loves country music, she tends to take songs and puts her own spin on them. She loves all the new country/rock music that is coming out.
