Jodi Vaughan
Jodi graced our screens on ‘That’s Country’ for eight years, becoming a household name, and is a gold recording artist, with six studio albums under her belt. She has toured NZ many times, toured the US, and more recently has released and performed new music in Australia, gaining national chart status. Jodi has teamed up with recording artist Aly Cook.
Aly Cook
Aly has predominantly worked in Australia, where she has claimed six number one air-play hits, as well as all three of her studio albums gaining top ten NZ official album chart status.
Aly has also twice been nominated for NEXT NZ Woman of the Year for her contribution to the arts in helping other artists.
Together as a dynamic duo with powerful voices, they invite fellow female artists to join them in harmony, providing a platform to present their guest’s songs in a unique way.
Wendy Thornton
Wendy has been an active show producer, M.D, musician and vocalist for over 40 years in New Zealand, Australia and the USA.
In that time she has performed on many shows, albums, tours, festivals and cruise ships. One of her career highlights was opening for multi Grammy award winning trio, Lady Antebellum. Based out of Nashville TN for ten years, she firmly established herself in the music scene there, then went on to front her own band on luxury cruise line Royal Caribbean. Now back in New Zealand, she plays in the popular Kiwi band White Goat, and continues to back legendary country artists throughout New Zealand, which also includes Sisters in Country ( Jodi Vaughan and Aly Cook) of which she loves being a guest sister and sharing the stage and some great harmonies.
Sisters In Country
Aly and Jodi have had fantastic success in Australia with their debut recording “Hey Jolene”. Reaching number one on the Australian Indie Airplay Charts and staying there for six weeks straight. This song is still in the top ten after fifteen weeks .Jodi wrote and produced the song.
